You can think of this news story in one of two ways:
a) Heh, radioactive cat.
b) Whoa the government!
I have no problem with either.
So the reason I’ve been blogging less is that I got a job, job-type job. 40 hours a week, and such. Which doesn’t fully explain why 55 isn’t going. I can’t really write one a day myself it seems, and submissions have been scarce the last week.
Of course, sure, my workday’s been longer than usual, but the other reason I haven’t been writing is that I’m totally obsessed with the show Lost.
As to the job, I’m now one of those antagonistic collections agents that calls you and wants you to pay your bill. It’s a pretty sweet job actually, and better than selling credit cards if you look at it idealistically: I’m getting people out of the debt that credit-card sellers (including me) got them into in the first place.
Now, I’ve got a neat sci-fi idea that might work in 55, so I’m gonna go try that.
Later.
This video “Awareness Test” is short and hilarious:
Not for the squeamish.
Blog Is Dead (ideally oughtta be the title of Sonja Nitschke’s blog)
Man Bites Blog
The Causality Post (not a play on “blog”; needs to be for something more postmodern than me)
The Modern Post (practically the same title)
Blog Is A Four-Letter Word
Ye Olde Weblogge
Logbay (it’s pig latin)
The Blogger Always Posts Twice
Just in the last two and a half days, people have found 55 A Day through the following web searches:
“short people unhappy”
“short people”
“short people are cool”
Are we cool or unhappy? I would venture that we are both. Perhaps even one because of the other, though I leave you to decide which came first.
I oughtta check these results more often. Some of the keywords are fun. Also, I’ve gotta find you guys that awesome link of when ALL the AOL searches were accidentally released. Man, there was some great stuff there.
But this is just the perfect synthesis of women and… one of my other favorite things.
Warning: NSFW.

Also, looks like I’m going with Ari Collins. Probably change everything over this weekend. Should be pretty painless.
